Winning The Entrepreneur Awards

Transforming Cambodian Sihanoukville

  The masterplan for Ream City , in Cambodia's Sihanoukville province, was recently unveiled, with the goal of transforming the area into an exciting tourist destination. This large-scale development, which spans more than 6 kilometres of beachfront, will include a sustainable ecosystem of tourism, commercial, and residential activity, with the capacity to house up to 130,000 people. The 834-hectare project is being developed by Canopy Sands Development, a subsidiary of the Cambodian conglomerate Prince Holding Group, and will include family attractions, condominiums, landed and beachfront homes and affordable housing estates, shopping malls, business hubs, beach resorts, hotels, condotels, and a yacht and marina club. The masterplan, which was completed by Singapore-based Surbana Jurong Group, is a significant step toward making Ream City's vision a reality.
